Child Care Food Program (559) 456-3429
This is a federally funded program that reimburses licensed child care providers for serving nutritionally balanced meals and snacks to the children in their care.
The food program goals are to:
- Improve the diets of children age twelve and younger by providing the children with nutritious, well-balanced meals
- Develop good eating habits in children that will last through the years
Providers must attend a Food Program orientation and learn how to enroll.
