The focus of NAFCC is to provide technical assistance to family child care associations. This assistance is provided through developing leadership and professionalism, addressing issues of diversity, and by promoting quality and professionalism through NAFCC's Family Child Care Accreditation.

- National School-Age Care Alliance
A national organization of public, private, and community-based providers of after-school programs. Promotes quality school-age care for children and youth from 5 to 14 years old, and grants accreditation to programs meeting the standards. Contains information on their standards of quality school-age care and how to select quality after school programs.
